HEAVENLY COFFEE CAKE | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. vegetable shortening 3 eggs 1/2 pt. sour cream 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt TOPPING: 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream, vanilla and blend well. Gradually add sifted dry ingredients and blend until smooth. Place 1/2 batter in greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle half of topping evenly over batter. Pour balance of batter into pan and sprinkle rest of topping over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
