DEER HUNTER'S SURPRISE 
1 1/2 lbs. deer meat
1 med. onion, diced
1 med. green pepper, diced
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/8 lb. butter
1 tsp. garlic salt
Salt and pepper
1 pkg. frozen Chinese vegetables
1 (8 oz.) can brown gravy
2 tsp. soy sauce

In large skillet, melt butter. Add onion, green pepper and mushrooms. Simmer until they begin to soften. Add meat, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add Chinese vegetables, soy sauce and brown gravy. Simmer 1/2 hour longer. Serve over rice. Beef or pork may be substituted. Yield: 6 servings.
