SWEDISH RICE PUDDING | |
1 qt. milk 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs Dash of salt Dash of nutmeg Place 3 cups milk, sugar and salt in top of double boiler to heat. Wash rice and add it to the milk and sugar and cook 1 1/2 hours. Beat eggs well and add to the remaining milk. Mix into the rice. Pour into a greased baking dish. Dot butter over the top and sprinkle with nutmeg. Place the baking dish in a pan of hot water and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve hot with meal. |
