WILTED SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1/2 sweet Bermuda onion
3 stalks celery, sliced
1/2 lb. bacon
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1-2 tbsp. vinegar

Layer lettuce, onion and celery in salad bowl. Mix sour cream and sugar. Stir quickly and pour over salad. Thin mayonnaise with vinegar and put on salad.

Fry 1/2 pound bacon until crisp, crumble and garnish salad. Refrigerate covered. Make early in day so salad has time to wilt.
