LYNNE'S BLUEBERRY TARTS
Early in the morning, talk husband into a trip up the mountain to pick blueberries. Make sure it is a beautiful, warm sunny day so that you can both enjoy the scenery. It is necessary to take a blanket, a nice picnic lunch, a chilled bottle of wine and a couple of cold beers. Oh, and of course, a couple of pails for the blueberries.

Find a nice comfortable spot for the blanket so the picnic will be a pleasure for both of you. Of course, that depends on how "comfortable" you want to get!!! After lunch have the husband rub sun tan oil on you and make yourself comfortable to sun tan, not forgetting to turn over every 20 minutes so as not to burn.

Remember to praise husband on what a good job he is doing at picking the blueberries.

After he has the pails full, make sure you have a cold beer for the husband. Let him rest for a while before he has to drive down the mountain, as picking blueberries can wear a person out.

Later: Wash the blueberries, put into freezer bags. At any time you wish, make your tarts or pies by defrosting blueberries and mixing them with a store bought glaze mix. Put into baked tart or pie shells. Chill for at least one hour and serve with whipping cream.

P. S. Make sure husband gets lots of blueberry tarts, especially in the picnic lunch the next time you ask him to take you up the mountain to get more berries. This method works well with most other berries as well.

Recipe is a keeper! If he refuses to pick the berries, hit him with the pail... drive off and leave him on the mountain He will have to walk home ~ so leave him a few beers for strength & wisdom regarding future berry picking.
