2 lg. onions, sliced 2 green peppers, cut fine 3 tbsp. butter 1 lb. chuck (ground) 4 c. canned crushed tomatoes 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Cook onions and green pepper slowly in butter until onions are soft. Add meat and saute until meat falls apart. Add tomatoes and rice. Add seasoning. Arrange in large casserole and cover. Bake at 350 or 375 degrees for 45 minutes. |
