MOTHER'S PEPPER SLAW 
1 med. to lg. head cabbage, shredded (6 c.)
1 sm. green pepper, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed

Mix together sugar, vinegar, pepper, salt and celery seed. Pour over vegetables and mix well. It's better if refrigerated overnight before serving.
