FETTUCINI ALFREDO 
1 lb. fettucini pasta
1 stick butter, lightly salted
1/2 pt. heavy cream
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese

1. Melt butter in bowl; cool. Blend in cheese then slowly whisk in heavy cream.

2. Boiling water, 3 teaspoons salt and add pasta. Cook 12 minutes; drain and rinse with hot water.

3. Pour mixture on pasta, toss gently coating the pasta.

4. Serve with freshly ground black pepper (to taste). 6 moderate servings.
