MY FAVORITE SHEPHERDS PIE 
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
8 oz. can tomato sauce
Salt to taste
14.5-16 oz. can French style green beans, drained
Durkee French fried onions (2.8 oz.) can
16 1/2 oz 17 oz. can whole corn
6-7 lg. potatoes, cooked & mashed your favorite way

Brown meat and drain off any fat. Add tomato sauce, salt, green beans and 3/4 can French fried onions; cook until mixture is hot. Pour into a large casserole dish or deep sided pan.

Next layer the corn and mashed potatoes. Sprinkle remaining French fried onions on top. Put in oven and bake at 325 degrees or 20-25 minutes. Optional: A pinch of oregano can be added to the meat mixture for added flavor.
