FUDGE 
2/3 c. Carnation Evaporated Milk (5 1/2 oz.)
2 tbsp. butter
1 2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. mini marshmallows (4 oz.)
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Combine butter, milk, sugar and salt over medium-high heat. Boil (cook) 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. (Start timing when bubbles appear.) Remove from heat.

Add marshmallows, chocolate piece and vanilla (and nuts). Stir 1 minute vigorously. Pour into 8 inch square buttered pan. Cool 3 hours, cut into squares. Yield: 2 pounds.
