CHERRY TORTE 
1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/3 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. white sugar
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix graham cracker crumbs, butter and 1/2 cup white sugar. Pat into an 8 or 9 inch square pan. Beat the softened cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar, then add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Continue beating until very smooth. Pour over crumbs and bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool. Spoon 1 can of cherry pie filling over top. Chill 3 hours or overnight. Blueberry pie filling may be substituted for the cherry pie filling.
