ROSE'S PEANUT BUTTER SURPRISE
JELLO SALAD
 
2 med. cans crushed pineapple (mostly drained of juice)
1/4 lb. butter
1 med. Dream or Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. ground nuts or substitute 1 heaping tsp. peanut butter
1 lg. pkg. strawberry Jello
1 box graham cracker crumbs

Mix Jello with ice cubes and water per package instructions until soft set. Line dish with about half graham cracker crumbs, pat down flat. Cream together butter, sugar and egg and peanut butter. Add 1/2 nuts and pineapple together pour mixture over cracker crumbs. Pour set Jello over second layer of cracker crumbs, then add another layer of cracker crumbs. Spread Cool Whip on top and sprinkle remaining nuts.
