NEVER FAIL PIE PASTRY 
3 c. flour
1 c. lard
1 egg (well beaten)
1/2 c. cold water
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt

Measure flour and salt in a bowl. Cut lard into flour until particles are the size of peas. In a separate bowl, beat egg, add water and vinegar. Add to your flour mixture and toss lightly until mixture is dampened. Divide into 4 parts and make into balls. Roll out and put in pie pan. Fill with your favorite fruit. makes 2 - 9 inch pies.

Bake at 375°F for 40-45 minutes.
