1 c. brown sugar
1 c. soft butter
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together the sugar, butter and egg yolk. Add slowly and mix the flour and nuts. Add the vanilla last. Place in a 17 by 11 cookie sheet. Begin spreading the sides. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Have 8 Hershey bars at room temperature and spread over cookies. Cut while still still warm. Makes a thin cookie.
