BABY CARROTS WITH GINGER AND
SAGE BUTTER
 
2 lbs. baby carrots
1/4 lb. butter
1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. chopped fresh ginger
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 lg. clove garlic, mashed
1 tbsp. chopped fresh sage or 2 tsp. dried

Poach carrots in water until tender. Melt butter and add other ingredients. Add drained carrots and gently saute 2-3 minutes to blend flavors.
