GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 clove garlic (if desired)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. black pepper
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (5 oz.) pkg. sm. noodles
1 med. size onion, chopped (or 5 green onions)
1 c. commercial sour cream
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

Brown beef, pour off fat, add garlic, salt, sugar, pepper and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes. Cook noodles and drain (set aside). Mix onions with cream cheese and sour cream. In a buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch casserole dish place layer of noodles, then meat sauce, then sour cream mixture, then Cheddar cheese. Repeat ending with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
