1 pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix 1 1/2 c. milk 2 c. sugar 24 lg. marshmallows 14 oz. coconut 5 tbsp. butter 12 oz. chocolate chips Prepare and bake cake according to package directions in 9"x13" pan. When cake is half done, prepare in saucepan over low heat the following: 1 cup milk, 1 cup sugar, marshmallows and the coconut until melted. When cake is done, spread the mixture over hot cake. Let cool. In saucepan combine 1 cup sugar, 5 tablespoons butter, and 1/2 cup milk. Boil together 1 minute, remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips. Spread over coconut mixture and refrigerate until hard. |
