SALAD ELONA 
1 lg. cucumber, peeled & very thinly sliced
3 tbsp. dry white wine
12 to 16 lg. strawberries, washed & hulled
Salt & pepper

Cut strawberries into thin, even slices. Arrange slices in a decorative pattern in a shallow serving dish - an outer circle of cucumber slightly overlapped by a circle of strawberries, then more cucumber, finishing with a center of strawberry slices. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with wine and chill before serving.
