WHOPPEE PIES 
PIES:

1 pkg. devils food cake mix (18.25 oz.)
1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix (4 servings)
1/2 c. softened butter
4 eggs
1 c. water

FILLING:

1 1/2 sticks butter
1 c. marshmallow creme (Fluff)
3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To make pies, combine cake mix, pudding, butter, eggs and water in a large bowl. Beat at low speed until moist. Then beat at medium speed scraping bowl frequently for 2 minutes or until light and thick.

Drop by heaping tablespoons of batter 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. (Pies should be 3 inches in diameter after baking.) Bake for 15 minutes or until pie springs back when touched lightly. Remove to wire rack to cool.

Filling: Combine butter, marshmallows, sugar and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes on high until light and fluffy. Spread filling on flat side of 1/2 of cookies and top with another cookie to make sandwiches.
