SAUSAGE AND CHEESE BISCUITS 
1/2 lb. sausage (browned and drained)
8 oz. shredded cheese

DOUGH:

Flour
1 heaping tsp. Crisco (butter flavored)
1 - 1 1/4 c. buttermilk

Put 4 to 5 cups sifted flour into bowl. Make a well in flour, put in Crisco and buttermilk. Mix until all lumps are gone. Use only enough flour to make ball. Put ball into another bowl. Add browned sausage, mix well. Add shredded cheese. Mix well. Grease a cookie sheet. Put by drops with spoon on cookie sheet, bake at 425 degrees. When top side gets brown, about 10 minutes, turn biscuits over and lightly brown other side.
