CREAM OF PUMPKIN SOUP 
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
4 c. chicken broth
1 can evaporated milk
1 c. canned pumpkin
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Saute onion and butter in large saucepan. Add 4 cups chicken broth and canned milk and pumpkin. Simmer for 20 minutes. Do not boil. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot!
