OLD FASHIONED POUND CAKE | |
1 lb. butter (you may substitute "I Can't Believe Its Not Butter") 6 eggs 3 c. sugar 4 c. sifted flour 2/3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. lemon extract Dash of salt With electric mixer, cream butter. Add eggs, one at a time, blend in sugar. Alternately add flour and milk, then flavorings and salt. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter and flour a 12 cup bundt pan. Bake approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, check after 1 hour. |
