BUTTERMILK BROWNIES AND FROSTING 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar and salt aside in bowl. In saucepan, mix and bring to a boil 2 sticks butter, cocoa and water. Mix together and add to first mixture. Pour hot mixture over dry ingredients; mix well. Pour into 11 x 17 inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt
1 c. chopped pecans
1 stick butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/3 c. buttermilk

Mix first 4 ingredients in bowl. Mix last 3 ingredients in saucepan. Pour hot mixture over dry. Mix well. Frost brownies right out of oven. Cool and cut.
