EASY CHUCK ROAST DINNER 
3 to 5 lbs. chuck roast
1 c. onions
1 c. green pepper
2 cans Golden mushroom soup
Garlic powder
6 potatoes, cut in quarters
6 carrots, cut in quarters
1/2 can water
1 pkg. onion soup mix

Mix together onions, green pepper, soup, water and onion soup mix. Pour a little of this mixture in the bottom of a roast pan. Place roast on top. Sprinkle with garlic powder. Pour remaining soup mixture over roast. Cover and bake 3 to 3 1/2 hours. In last hour add potatoes and carrots.
