ONION FRENCH DRESSING 
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. vinegar
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. catsup
1 c. salad oil

Combine all ingredients in blender container; blend until smooth. Dressing may also be made by combining salt, sugar, pepper and mustard. Then dissolve dry ingredients in vinegar. Chop or shred onion and add to vinegar mixture. Add catsup and salad oil. Beat by hand or shake vigorously in a bottle. Yield: 1 1/2 pints.
