HOT CARAMEL SAUCE 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add boiling water and stir until smooth. Lightly boil 3 minutes. Add butter and vanilla and serve hot. Great served over Holiday Fruit Cake or ice cream.
