VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 pkg. vegetable soup mix (with barley, etc.)
4 carrots, sliced
2 whole onions
Soup bones
Flanken
2 med. potatoes, diced
3 stalks celery, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables for soup
6 tbsp. tomato paste, or more to taste

In a large pot, place soup bones and flanken, with onions in enough water to cover. Add vegetable soup mix, carrots, potatoes, celery, and salt and pepper. When meat is tender, add frozen mixed vegetables, and tomato paste. Cook until mixed vegetables are soft, but not overcooked.
