HOBO BREAD 
3 3/4 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. boiling water
4 tbsp. soft butter
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 lg. well-beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
Nuts (optional)

Mix raisins and boiling water and let stand to cool. Add rest of ingredients to raisin mixture, one at a time. Bake in 9 greased small soup cans. Cool and remove by cutting off can bottoms. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
