CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 c. walnuts
3/4 c. whole cranberry sauce

Cream butter with sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients, sifted together, alternately with sour cream (ending with dry ingredients). Add flavoring.

Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Add half of the cranberry sauce and nuts, spread over batter. Add rest of the batter and spread cranberry sauce and nuts to top. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. warm water
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Combine.
