SLOW - COOKED CHICKEN 
3 lb. chicken (quarters or pieces)
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 stalk celery in 2" pieces, save leaves
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. savory
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour

Clean and dry chicken and rub with curry powder. Place cut celery in bottom of a crock pot. Place chicken on top of celery. Layer chicken with celery leaves and sprinkle with salt, pepper and savory. Cook on low for 5-7 hours. You may make a gravy of the juices in the pot and the flour.
