SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 c. raisins
1 c. dark Karo syrup
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 baked 9-inch pie shell
3 egg whites

Combine egg yolks, sugar, sour cream, cornstarch, vinegar and spices. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, about 5 minutes, or until mixture thickens. Stir in raisins. Pour into the pie shell.

MERINGUE:

Beat 3 egg whites until foamy, adding 6 tablespoons sugar, a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat until stiff peaks form. Spread on pie. Bake until slightly brown.
