1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. nuts, chopped fine

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla. Blend flour, salt and add to butter mix. Add nuts. Chill. Roll into 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 400 degrees. While warm, roll in sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. Makes about 4 dozen.
