FREEZER COLESLAW 
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1/3 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped onion (optional)
1 tsp. caraway seeds or mustard seed
3/4 lb. cabbage, finely chopped or shredded (4 packed cups)
1 c. coarsely shredded carrots

Mix sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and caraway or mustard seeds. Add cabbage, carrots and onion. Toss to coat. Freeze in pint containers. Freeze up to six months. Thaw overnight in refrigerator before serving. Makes 4 packages.
