HAM & SWISS EMPANADAS | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent dinner rolls 4 (1 oz.) slices boiled ham 4 (1 oz.) slices Swiss cheese 1 egg, beaten 2 tbsp. sesame seeds On floured surface, separate crescent roll dough into 4 rectangles. Pinch diagonal perforation together on each rectangle. With floured rolling pin, roll each rectangle to measure approximately 5"x7". Arrange ham and cheese on rectangles, leaving 1/2" rim of dough around edge. Brush edges of dough with beaten egg. Fold dough and filling in half crosswise, pressing edges of dough with fork to seal. Place on greased cookie sheet. Brush top with remaining egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes until brown. |
