SCANDINAVIAN PASTRY 
1 lb. (2 cups) butter
1 lb. cottage cheese
4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 400°F.

Put cottage cheese through sieve. Cream butter & cottage cheese. Stir salt into flour and mix into butter. Form into walnut-size balls. Roll each ball out on floured board. Put 1 tsp. jelly or jam in middle of each pastry. Brush edges of pastry with water, fold in half and seal edges.

Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
