RED VELVET CAKE 
1 c. oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 oz. red food coloring
2 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together oil, sugar, and food coloring, then add eggs. Mix dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes in a sheet cake pan.

TOPPING:

1 c. milk
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. oil
1 c. coconut
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped nuts

Cook the milk and flour, stirring constantly until thick, cool. Add the remaining ingredients and spread over cooled cake.
