16 oz. pkg. Oreos, crushed
1 stick melted butter

Mix and press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Freeze.

FILLING:

1 lg. can Carnation milk
1 c. sugar
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 stick butter

Mix together in pan and boil until thick (approximately 15 minutes at medium heat). Stir often. Cool. Spread 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream over cookie layer. Return and freeze until firm. Spread cooled filling over ice cream. Chill. Top with Cool Whip and nuts.
