CINNAMON BUNS 
1 cake yeast, dissolved in water
3/4 c. milk, scalded
3/4 c. water
1 3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. shortening
6 tbsp. sugar
1 beaten egg
5 to 5 1/2 c. flour, enough so dough isn't sticky

Knead and let rise about 1 hour. Roll out, sprinkle with cinnamon. Make in a roll. Cut into 1 inch pieces, let rise and bake. Ice with 10x sugar icing.

Bake 15 minutes at 350-375 degrees.
