1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. water
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sifted plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. plain M&M'S®
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend Crisco and sugar. Beat in vanilla, water and egg. Sift dry ingredients together and add to sugar and egg mixture. Mix well, stir in M&M'S®. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown. Makes about 3 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies.
