DUTCH APPLE DESSERT 
5 med. all-purpose apples, pared, cored and sliced
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. cold butter
1 1/2 c. biscuit baking mix
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl combine apples, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon; set aside. In large bowl cut 1/2 cup butter into 1 cup biscuit mix until crumbly. Stir in apple mixture. Pour into 9-inch square baking pan.
