CORN-FRANK CHOWDER | |
3 slices of bacon, chopped 5 frankfurters, sliced 1 med. onion, chopped 4 med. potatoes, diced 1 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. basil 1 lb. can cream style corn 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk Cook bacon on HIGH in microwave; add franks and onion. Cook on HIGH 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Add potatoes and water; cover and cook on HIGH 12 minutes, turning dish halfway through cooking. Add remaining ingredients and heat to serving temperature (4 minutes). Do not boil. Serves 6. Freezes well. |
