REFRIGERATOR ROLLS | |
1 3/4 c. scalded milk 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. salt 1 c. mashed potatoes 1/4 c. lukewarm water 7 c. flour 2 eggs (beaten) 1 c. shortening 2 cakes yeast Add yeast to water and let dissolve. Mix scalded milk, sugar, salt, shortening, beaten eggs and potatoes. When mixed add yeast and 3 cups flour, beat 5 minutes. Gradually stir in remaining flour. Place in greased bowl, cover with wax paper and place in refrigerator until ready to use. Make in rolls, let rise. Bake 20 minutes at 425 degrees. |
