CHRISTMAS TREES 
1/2 c. butter
25 large marshmallows
1 (6 oz.) box crisp rice cereal or 6 to 8 oz. box puffed rice cereal or
1/2 box of each
Tiny multicolored candies, cinnamon drops or colored sugar
Confectioners' sugar (optional)

Melt butter and marshmallows in top of double boiler over hot water. Pour over cereal. Cool slightly. Then shape into 5 inch high trees, covering with wax paper during shaping. Roll in candies. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if desired.
