"EASY AS PIE" CAKE 
1 lg. can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1 lg. can cherry pie filling
1 pkg. dry cake mix, white or yellow
2 sticks butter

Spread crushed pineapple and juice in a 9x13 glass baking pan. Spread cherry pie filling on top of pineapple. Sprinkle cake mix over fruit. Slice butter thin and place over top. Bake 325 degrees 1 hour. Top will get dark, but leave in for 1 hour.
