MUSHROOMS AND RICE 
1 stick butter
1 med. onion, chopped in small pieces
1 c. rice
3 c. liquid (mushroom juice and/or water)
1 c. chopped mushrooms (1 small can pieces and stems mushrooms)

Fry onions in butter until soft, add rice and fry until rice is white on tips. Put mushrooms in baking pan, add rice and onions, and liquid. Salt to taste. Bake in pan 8 x 8 x 2 inch 450 degree oven until water is absorbed by rice. Sprinkle with black pepper after removing from oven.
