STRAWBERRY FIG PRESERVES 
3 c. mashed figs
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
3 c. sugar

Prepare 4 1/2 pint jars before starting the preserves. Combine figs, sugar and Jello in a saucepan. Put over heat and cook until thick (may take 45 minutes). Pour into sterile jars and seal with paraffin. Seal with lids.
