1 c. butter (2 sticks)
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
3 med. Delicious apples
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add water... Add eggs, one at a time and beat after each addition. Add sifted dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Add apples and nuts. Apples are cored and cut up, but not peeled. Pour into wax paper lined tube pan and bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour 30 minutes. If you use a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan, about 50 minutes.
