APPLE DAPPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
3 c. apples, chopped raw (Delicious)

Mix together oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt and soda, add to first mixture. Add chopped pecans and apples and mix all ingredients together. Bake in tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or longer.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 stick butter

Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes. Pour over cake while still hot. Cool in pan.
