CHERRIES JUBILEE 
1 1/2 tsp. orange peel
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. sugar
1 can pitted Bing cherries
1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. water
Brandy

Combine first 3 ingredients. Add 1 can cherries. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat; drain. Reserve liquid.

Combine cornstarch and water. Stir into reserved liquid in saucepan. Boil; reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Add cherries. Pour into metal serving bowl. Heat 3 tablespoons brandy over low heat. Pour over cherries. Light with match. Serve over vanilla ice cream.
