GRANDMA'S CHILI SAUCE 
18 ripe tomatoes
3 sm. hot red peppers
1 lg. onion
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Chop up tomatoes, grind peppers and onions. Add other ingredients except spices and add those towards last of cooking (after tomatoes, etc. have cooked down some). Cook down to a sauce-like consistency. Probably takes about an hour. If sauce tastes too hot you can always add more tomatoes and then cook a little longer.
